UK Cluedo Game - 2000 |
An exciting new edition, this game is stylish and elegant. The board and box are much more like the US versions with pictures. The cards also offer little captions underneath the pictures to help build the mystery scenario. | |
Miss Scarlett: Forthright, self-confident... dangerous: a trifle too calm in the circumstances. The gentlemen seemed quite smitten and she knows it... Colonel Mustard: Practical, straightforward sort (typical army). Seems above it all. Knows more than he's giving away... Mrs. White: Poor devoted soul. Seems quite distraught - not at all the short-tempered matriarch described by her staff... Reverend Green: Is he every bit as charming as he seems? He may have secrets or confidences to divulge, but then again, maybe not... Mrs. Peacock: A faded rose, but by no means wilting. Seems extremely knowledgeable about her fellow guests... Professor Plum: Seems on another planet, but very much at home in Dr. Black's house! A bright spark... he could hold the key to this investigation... |

Dagger: Oriental origin. 6" blade. Engraved. Difficult to make out initials - E.P./E.B. ... Candlestick: Early Victorian. Sterling silver. Check Hallmark at the Police station. Dented around the base... Revolver: American. Loaded, save for one bullet. Safety catch off. Signs of rust on the barrel... Rope: 16 ft. long approx. Made of heavy Indian jute. Frayed and heavily stained. Smells of linseed oil... Lead Piping: Heavy-duty plumbing, 1" diameter, fitted with elbow at one end. Abrasion marks. Oily fingerprints... Spanner: Adjustable monkey wrench type. Heavy engineering use, not domestic. Jaws heavily worn. Staining on handle... |

Hall: Doors were locked and bolted from the inside. No marks or footprints on parquet flooring (almost too clean!)... Lounge: Curtains open. French windows found unlocked. Stains under rug: coffee, or something more sinister... Dining Room: Table set for dinner - undisturbed. Candlestick found on the floor. No traces of wax... Kitchen: Examine food for contamination. Explain presence of spanner in kitchen. Check drains/plumbing... Ballroom: Dr. Black obviously had no plans to use this room on this occasion. It could have been used as a hideout... Conservatory: Empty cigarette case found under table. Some strange - exotic - plants and herbs growing here. Why?... Billiard Room: Very smoky atmospher on arrival at the house. Billiards before dinner? Chiffon scarf found in one of the pockets... Library: Last reported sighting of Dr. Black alive. Was he looking for something? Curious note left on the table... Study: Noticed a lady's fragrances on arrival - curious in a gentleman's study. Entrance to secret passageway found open... |
