US Clue Game - 1949

This first edition of the Clue game in the United States came as a small square box with two different covers - a standard Clue cover with the tag line "The Great Detective Game!" and another that calls it "The Great New Sherlock Holmes Game!" The board was separate from the box, and many have been lost today.

The Suspects: Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Prof. Plum

The Weapons: Knife, Candlestick, Revolver, Rope, Lead Pipe, Wrench

The Rooms: Hall, Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen, Ballroom, Conservatory, Billiard Room, Library, Study
