And our latest SPAMMER is "Thomasenutt", with a location of Panama but SPAMS in Russian?
(At least according to Google translation.)

I see them, no need to post every time you see one (that would take up a lot of time). I am back to deleting forum spam during break time at work. :(

Course I work from home now...

Due to two spam incidents in the last few hours where a bot made a lot of accounts with frequent new topics, I post here and lock this topic as a tool for me.

I agree, thank you so much for deleting all these spam accounts and junk. It must feel sisyphian D:

I'm just baffled that of every forum, we're the ones getting spammed. We're a very small community, what algorithm decided we're a cash cow that needs to be furiously milked?

They're bots crawling the net for every index.php file they can find.

I love people like agrohimoqi, who make their first post something like this:
Where is moderator??
It is important.
Regards.
What's so "important" that the very first post s/he/it submits requires an administrator?

And we have another like that today:

Thank.
Every so often, I have the urge to respond to posts like this with:
Kenneth, what is the frequency?
(Don't know how many people would be aware of the R.E.M. song or the Dan Rather incident that inspired the song . . . )

I wish this AntiDetect software would also detect and hide spam messages like this spambot.

Unfortunately you may sometimes experience connection issues - these are caused by bots crawling the forum.

Just had the following error:
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

User thaitum_7 already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I still find it amusing how people from Kenya start threads in languages like Polish and Russian.

Yes, but I wonder how many of those people from "Kenya" are really from "Kenya"?

There's lots.

Fortunately my boyfriend offered to help me in my times of being too stressed, so that I no longer end up checking for spammers during breaktime at work - he's helping with chucking and banning them.

Thanks sweetheart!

Please refrain from replying to spammers for the following reasons:

-either I have to delete your post, or I have to leave the spammer's text in the screen.
-Almost all spammers have either 0 or 6 replies to their topic. This is a huge help with sorting out spammers for me. By replying you make the post less visible. Also the name of the last replyer helps. By replying you take away a very useful tool, should a spammer post a chain of spammers while I'm asleep.
-by merely opening the offending post you can click a link by accident. Clicking a wrong link means ransomware or Trojan viruses can take over your computer.

I don't actually click any links. I just find it amusing to leave a response to some of the obviously fail spammers.

But there is a possible problem if you accidentally click on a link, which can easily happen due to a finger slip, a delay with your mouse / computer reacting to your actions, etc.

And again,
