You know what would be cool? To have a Cluedo fan meetup with a day-long game that would involve all of these characters, locations and weapons! It'd be either long and boring as *beep*, or an absolutely great adventure, 50-50!

We're gonna have to go through the official character bios to see if there's anything we can glean from that

There’s a lot of official sources like puzzle books etc to comb through for names, locations etc!

I’m a bit torn on translating the international names or just leaving them as is - if we assume the games actually take place in the countries they were released in, then as their names they should stay in their original language.

It may be worth noting the translations in parenthesis just for comparison.

That sounds like a good approach - it preserves the international nature of the characters while still giving the translated information

Don't forget the characters from Armchair Detective. There should been a lot of characters in there!

And the Cluedo game shows. I've started to make a list of the characters with color names and the different weapons

And "forest green" is a legitimate color.

I initially thought of him as a Green character, but I've since re-thought him as a gold/earthy colour - as in an autumn forest. Mostly that's because the Millennial games already have 2 games but only 1 yellow character.

I would have thought Forest Green as well, but the idea of an earthy colour is quite interesting - the Millennial characters also include names like Meadow-Brook, which use nature to evoke colours rather than straight up calling the character Mrs Turquoise.
