I don't mind multiple exclamation points quite so much ... I mean they're awful, but bearable. What I really can't stand is when a person feels it necessary to put emphasis on lots of words in their posts by CAPITALIZING at least one word in every sentence or *starring* it, or putting it in bold, when just writing it and letting natural emphasis do its magic would have word just fine.

Even that would be just a minor *annoyance*, comparatively, but PEOPLE will put *the* emphasis *on* the wrong words.
