I suppose. Thinking of Hollywood examples again, I recently saw the Talented Mr. Ripley and the way Matt Damon accidentally bludgeons Jude Law with the oar, is pretty disturbing too. It didn't take a lot of effort on Ripley's part to get his victim to a point where he could finish him. The whole thing seemed to surprise Ripley as much as the audience, particularly being a slight-young man at the time he made the film. I guess my point is, Miss Scarlet has seen too many movie and thinks that bonking someone over the head is an easy thing which she will find out, it ain't after the first whack.
But I see what you mean about being nervous, knowing the actual power of the weapon in your hands. I just think it's more of a character trait than anything. In context it makes perfect sense – the effeminate Green from the movie, and the nerdy Prof. Plum, both of whom have to overcome more psychological obstacles about killing, than physical ones. Of course they are the most nervous!
Actually the problem I have is with the second from the last. The large eyes remind me of Japanese anime, which I don't particularly care for. SOrt of characters that would have appeared in these versions of Clue:
