I feel bad for Farrah Fawcett. Michael Jackson stole her thunder.

Agreed. Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Ed McMahon all dying painfully in the same week must mean Mr. God is has really got a bee in his bonnet over something.

I cannot believe Michael Jackson is dead... I just cannot believe it.

I was actually sadder when Farrah Fawcett dies then when Michael Jackson did. I don't know why.

I can.

As for Farrah, at least she doesn't have to be flaunted in the news anymore. I swear it felt like they were just waiting to see how many days and hours it would take before she'd die.

I don't know, but for some reason I'm not having a hard time with this. Jackson was before my time, obviously, but even one of my friends was like "I cannot believe he's dead, it's just so weird to me." I dunno, just doesn't seem that weird.

He was an accomplished singer, and a LOT of his songs are excellent. I suppose that the saddest part is that for the last decade or more of his life the man became a joke.

It was sad to see Farrah wither away from her cancer. I don't know, but just something about her death that I felt was a real tragedy.

I had no respect for Jackson up to his death. All I remember about him was his trial and the fact that he scared the crap out of me. His high point was before my time, so I had nothing really good to remember about him. As far as I'm concerned, he screwed himself over.

Exactly. I used to worry that he would come in the middle of the night and murder me.........or, um, worse.

But I am kind of sad. But at least I'm not scared of him anymore.

I grew up on Jackson. I don't remember the first court case but I was in college for the second. Do wish I had HIStory with me instead of in storage.

I do like that the radio stations are playing Black or White, and other MJ songs opposed to overplaying Poker Face, Boom Boom, and others that don't bother me so much.

Jackson was a legend though, in terms of music and performing. It is weird with him gone. Some people you just don't think of as dying one day...

Jackson was a tormented man. Turned into a superstar as a boy, he never was given a chance to be normal. Caught permanently in the whirlwind of fame, he never grew up. I don't know about what he did with children - neither does anyone else. He could have had the world. I'm from 1978. I grew up on Jackson. Lol. But I don't honestly know how I should feel. It feels surreal, almost like it didn't happen. May he now find on the other side the peace he never found on earth.

Just heard this tasteless one today, McDonald's announced a new burger in honour of MJ. 50-year old meat sandwiched between 8-year old buns.

You've used this one before, I believe. Or something similar.

I heard another one that is still tasteless, but kind of funny.

When Farrah Fawcet arrived at the Pearly Gates, St. Peter asked her if she could have one wish to make the world a better place, what would it be? Farrah thought for a moment, then replied "I wish for all the children to be safe."

St. Peter said "All right... just hold on a couple of hours, I think we can arrange that."

Are you sure? It was new to me. Can you prove that I said it before?

Well I tried looking for it and came up empty. Sorry for accusing you of recycling jokes, I just know I've heard it before and could have sworn it was you.

I heard another tasteless one today:

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Little boy blue.
Little boy blue who?
Michael Jackson.

Can we stop this now? If I want Rumors, I'll listen to Fleetwood Mac.
