Snow Day???

Post by CluedoAuthor12 »

well, my county is expecting a snowstorm to hit at around 1 in the morning tonight. by 6 AM, we're supposed to have around 10 inches to a foot of snow

it's been rumored that school was going to be called off, but I can't be sure. Our district has a habbit of being very selective about snow days. if it was, then we'd ad an extra day to out Winer Vacation...

thoughts?

Tuesday me and VBallGirl had an ice storm and there was no school, since I don't have school tomorrow anyway, I could care less what happens here. But I do hope you get an extra day off :)

I live in Florida, and I have never had a snow day in my life. We do get hurricane days, which I guess are just as good.

It hasn't snowed here in about 4 years. It is suppossed to be 66 tomorrow. We have had a pretty mild winter so far, with temperatures some days being in the low 70's.

I live in Mississippi and we also get hurricane days, but I highly disagree that they're just as good.

Unless it's like a blizzard, you can go out and play in the snow during your day off. During a hurricane, you're stuck inside your house and since the power's probably off, you're just bored all day. You can read, but only until the sun goes down. If you have a generator it's a little better, but you're still cooped up for who knows how long.

We always had hurricane parties. Usually it's just rain by me. The power goes out, but rarely, and not for very long. I guess I just get lucky each year.

Heh, I got a snow day today too. It's not even snowing yet, though.

well, I've got lots of time on my hands, now. (school won't resume until Janurary 5th)

I really want to get my Custom Clue finished first, but don't worry- if I'm lucky, I'll be able to start a new mystery before the 5th...

My buses ran smootly in the morning, but I was a whole 2 hours late in the afternoon.
Stupid school.
Oh, well. Last day today!!!
