Re: Current Thoughts
Wooo. Just gave birth to a lovely kidney stone on this fine November morn. My back and sides are killing me from the pressure, but I feel pretty **** accomplished. Time to quit Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew cold turkey.
Re: Current Thoughts
Ouch! Good luck and good health to you!
There's a puzzle out on DeviantArt that's so monstrous I'm thinking it's too much for even me - and I'm the kind of person who enjoys hitting her head on a proverbial brick wall.

Re: Current Thoughts
I watched the 1945 And Then There Were None tonight, it was a lot of fun - but am I the only one who thinks it's kind of like a comedy?

Re: Current Thoughts
It was a light-hearted film because it was made closer to the war, and audiences didn't want to watch anything too dark. The ending too was based off the play, rather than the book. For better, gloomier versions, try either the 1987 Russian version, or the more recent BBC TV mini series.

Got hit by a car.
Nothing but a few scratches but my poor bicycle's in dire need for repairs again...

Re: Current Thoughts
oh no! I'm so sorry, glad you are alright! Hope your bike get's better soon! =)
IT'S ALL TOO SHOCKING!

Re: Current Thoughts
Thanks!
My bicycle turned out to be pretty OK - the steering wheel was bent on one end, but it being aluminum could be bent back in shape (that was a magnificent power display by my father!).
I'm discovering more and more bruises. The ones I got from my bike on my leg and stomach look pretty ugly, but all things considered I came out pretty well.

Just thought I'd mention, but Denise Nickerson who played Violet Beauregarde, the blueberry girl, in the original Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder has passed away on Wednesday.

Re: Current Thoughts
Sorry 'bout getting the forum overrun again...
I had a bad case of real life biting. Three weeks ago I went to the oral hygienist and ever since I've had massive tooth ache - to the point that I had to get out of bed for pain killers and woke up in the middle of the night from pain. Today I went back. They put some gunk on the gums to ease the pain and prescribed tooth paste.

Re: Current Thoughts
I just saw the horror-comedy Ready or Not, and funnily enough, parts of it do feel rather Clue-like, from the sprawling stylized mansion setting, to the batty characters bumbling about with murder weapons, to the sort of campy murdery board-gamey nature. Thumbs-up.

Re: Current Thoughts
Not a clue update but something forum related actually. I've been branching out into heavier music lately and you won't believe what I found a little while back

Yes, that band logo reads Thy Art Is Murder, and I was obligated to figure out what on earth this coincidence was.
They are Not That Good™ and if you're into this stuff there's no real reason to listen to them when Black Dahlia Murder are doing the same thing way better, but hey. It's bizarrely adjacent to two of my interests and I like Dear Desolation good enough :3

My boyfriend is letting me get a pool table this summer!
I already have 3-4 different styles of balls picked out. I'm excited! I grew up with a table when I was younger.

Nice Cacums, I brought myself an American Pool cue a couple of years back from a store in Georgia. It did cost an arm and a leg to get here but it was worth it - Ozone Billiards

I've only ever played 8-ball, 9-ball, and carom. But I'm determined to buy a snooker set and learn
