Is the idea that you are only allowed to answer questions from memory, or are you allowed to look around websites for the answer?

Some of the questions on here are very obsure, and I don't think the answer could be known without a little research. There is no definitive rule. If you wish to challenge yourself to see if you can play only by memory, please do, but if you want to look up the answers, that's okay too.
