"Cat..it has your tongue, yes?" Flax chimed in, making a bit of a face. As if on cue, one of the Baroness's cats, who had been hidden for the entirety of the evening, wandered out and placed a dead mouse at her feet. "It seems the bloodshed is spreading."

"You know what I think" chimed in Rosa Cappadona, " I don't think that Nogoon is in a trap at all. I think he's made; how you say? A break for it?" She excitedly jumped to her feet. "Yes! It is clear now. We've been so close, but had the wrong man."
I suggest Mr Nogoon - Stained Glass Lamp - Hothouse. Cue BBP to disprove.

"I cannot say it sounds false. Perhaps we are moving in a more appropriate direction, yes?" Lieutenant Flax offered with a shrug. "What say you?"

"Gee, you know what?" Muttered Raven, "My money was on Mr. Nogoon from the start...but I guess Lt. Flax won't let me go after him, now will she? I mean, I don't see why my opinion on the matter should be discredited thanks to the Earl's foibles....but hey, it's still the same, I got nothing on him yet."

"Should you like to...what is the word, pummel, Mr. Nogoon, I shall not stand in your way any longer," Flax replied, pursing her lips as if in distaste. "That said, if he is indeed guilty, I cannot say that is quite how the whole affair must have occurred."
[ClueLover can disprove Nogoon - Stained Glass Lamp - Hothouse. Cue BBP to suggest.]

"Well, huzzah, we finally appear to be making progress. After the mass hunt on myself and Yukon I hope we can put this chase behind us and use a more sensible approach."
The strain from peering onto his note sheet was starting to get to Vermillion. After his earlier bragging, and of course losing his patience while being the main suspect so many times, he felt it was his duty to crack this case for once and for all.
"There's one name on my list that seems ever more suspicious. Can you vouch for your whereabouts, Julep? What exactly were you shaving in the hothouse?"
BBP suggests Julep - Razor - Hothouse; cue TheButlerButInnocent to disprove

"I do believe the cat has stolen someone's tongue, yes?" Flax replied, motioning vaguely at the feline now stalking throughout the room. "Or perhaps there is something nothing false to say?"

"AARRRGGGHHHH........Mio Dio!!"
The guests looked at Rosa Cappadona with scared looks on all their faces.
"Why? WHy? WHY? We know that isn't how it happened. Princess Blueblood just said the exact same thing. We know Mr Vermillion is innocent!"
She dramatically throws herself down into a chair and looks across at the Lieutenant. "Please can you confirm yet again that this accusation is false?" she pleads, "So that we can all get out of here before someone else dies...of old age!"
Cue Peachfreak to show TBBI's card on their behalf and save us all disproving in turn.
