Maybe we'd better cut straight to the heart of the matter:
CluedoKid, what exactly makes this look like Miss Scarlet as opposed to Mrs. Peacock?

"Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"
"You don't need any help from me, sir."
"That's right!"

And it works for Miss Scarlet? Mrs. Peacock is a diva too. Your model looks like Mrs. Peacock in the face.
She sorta looks like Barbara Eden today. Not in the 60s where she looked like a Miss Scarlet type.

To quote a great philosopher...CluedoKid wrote:She works as Scarlet because the dress is perfect, as well as the diva pose. The short blond hair and face doesn't work for Peacock. That's why the Reinvention Peacock is so awful.
Also, I think Peacock is one of the things that Discover the Secrets did well, along with Scarlet and Green. Mustard's appearance is fine as well. I think this Miss Scarlet's face and hair work splendidly for a busybody/socialite Peacock.Niteshade007 wrote:A woman wearing red does not a Scarlet make.

Why does Scarlet have to be young? I liked the aged look for her. Older women are usually more attractive.
Red dress or no red dress, she works for Scarlet.Green wrote:

In regards to the latest image...yes and no.
The pose and dress are pretty awful, but she's attractive and I like the blonde hair, going back to that original Scarlet. It's not great but it's not the worst interpretation either.
And Cluedokid, I think an older Scarlet would be interesting, and perhaps make a bit more sense in the Clue world. I mean, why does Mr. Boddy have such old friends except for the one hot girl? Well, perhaps I've answered my own question. I just don't feel that this particular "Scarlet with an Axe" image represents Miss Scarlet well. The pose isn't Diva, it's just awkward. Axes are heavy, and she's just holding it with one hand, apparently about to strike? It's likely to come hit her in the leg. Fortunately I don't think she could get much momentum going with one arm. There are older women who are quite sexy, and could perhaps play Scarlet. I just don't think particular sculpt epitomizes Scarlet.

Re: Miss Scarlet with the Axe
It doesn't help that she looks just like the 2002 Peacock:
