I love Mustard. I'm not sure about the Hall, though. i think focusing so much on the bust make it look too similar to a suspect card.

How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

Haha! Mrs. White reminds me of my grandma from Chicago. Beautifully done!

The bust kinda throws me off too.

Mrs. White is good. Is that a cigar? An interesting choice, but I think it works. I wouldn't have come up with it.

I actually love the hall the way it is. That particular shot really works for me. Then again, I don't have the finest taste in the world.

I can't see how anyone would get confused. I think the background of the doors, the title "Hall" and the bust-like appearence of the bust would give a tip off that this isn't a suspected person.

CluedoKid wrote:Unfortunately, I'm a tad short of material now. So much has been wasted on printing or drawing failures (I went though 4 designs to get the Hall right!). I went to buy more, but they didn't have exactly what I bought before. I bought something that I thought would be similar, but when I used it for printing, the backing came out as a tad lighter shade of gray, thus ruining the element of sameness with the cards completely.

They better restock with more 5x7 ivory cardstock soon!

Whoot! I found extra sheets!

I don't think someone would get confused. I just think they're too similar. Look at Mustard and the hall side by side. A big face dominates both.

Well the good news is, I now have enough card-stock left to make a new Hall should I come to agree with you.

Anyway,

I really like White and the Lounge :D
Was it Miss Scarlet with the Candlestick in the Ballroom? Yes... yes it was.

Thanks!

White required several takes. I almost contemplated redoing her since her face got accidentally overworked (I suppose that goes with the character though!) I did try fixing it a little.

The Lounge I was able to capture in one go! :)

Eh

I'm not in love with White. I decline to say anything more of her until I see more of the series. The Candlestick is very nice and the Lounge is particularly well done and charming.

Well White is the one who I feel is on the verge of redoing (if only for the face which got muddied). Anything you'd suggest should I do a second attempt? Mind you, I still want her to retain the cigar she filched from Boddy's Study. I also like her robust look with the cinder hair.

I'm thinking should I attempt a new Mrs. White, I would like to define a more deliberate expression and have her hold the cigar less absent-mindedly.

White is fantastic. LOVE the idea of her with the cigar. Brilliant. I bet she has hairy legs too!

Mrs. White is so unique. I think you should keep her.

I really couldn't advise any changes. Whatever I like or don't like is just about me. This set, of course, is entirely about you.

I don't particularly love Mrs. White, but I'll live whether she stays or leaves.

I'd leave everything as it is, it all looks great to me.
