New Game in Classic Clue Style

Post by Poirotfrmda818 »

I've been working on a new game. This time it's in the classic style used in the 1992 version.

Also, there are now 4 things you have to find out, the Murderer, Weapon, Room, and Victim.

Mr. Green
Mrs. Peacock
Prof. Plum
Miss Peach
M. Brunette
Mrs. Meadow-Brook

The Weapons:

Knife
Candlestick
Revolver
Rope
Lead Pipe
Wrench
Poison
Axe
Statuette

The Rooms:

Hall
Lounge
Dining Room
Kitchen
Ballroom
Conservatory
Billiard Room
Library
Study

The Victims:

Mrs. Black - The Mother

I did some sample cards to show what I have in mind. I still have to do the room cards after I do the board, and I'm thinking about just using a spare '92 board that I have.

Did Mrs. Peacock kill Mrs. Black with the Knife?

That looks great! Great idea for the silhouette instead of pawns! You always make games with great ideas! I love this one and it is definately going to go on my "To Print" list once it is completed! :D

I have grown to really like this kind of style, and from your previous renditions of the game, and from the above preview, I know that only true talent is to follow.

Have you thought about adding a small image of the weapon on the weapon cards, I think that would look great, regardless, really nice.

I disagree Black. I think that would add needless clutter to the card.

I also disagree. Besides, I'm trying to stay as close as possible to the original card designs.

Also, there is another option for Meadow-Brook. Which do you prefer?

I would say the first. It is consistent with the silhouette.
