You know, to be honest, the woman who played Scarlet actually did a good job portraying her. I could see her sounding like that, in different context that is.

Sorry, guys, I hate to interrupt this exciting subject!
But I just wanted to ask you guys, something.
Is it true, that CLUE Rivals Edition is ONLY located in Canada?

I think I found the possible inspiration of 1949 Scarlet - Diana Dors

Re: Clue Current Thoughts
I love going through old threads on this board, it seems like I'm always finding something new (well old, but new to me) and interesting! Case in point - I was looking up the Murder, She Wrote board game and came across a forum game that was played here back in 2014 based on it!

I really want to pick up a copy of the Murder, She Wrote board game one of these days, it seems like it would be an interesting addition to the detective/murder investigation themed board game collection I'm slowly building - seeing a Clue face-lift to it just makes it even better!

I remember that we attempted to play it one time (some variant) and that the game was abandoned, but I can't remember the exact details, other than that I was professor Plum and rolled very low eyes on occasion. I'll see if I can find it.
(Psst! There is a Cluedo puzzle I posted in the AIVD topic! Check it out!)

Re: Clue Current Thoughts
On the Board Game Geek forum for the Murder, She Wrote board game there are a few threads about trying to improve the game - the roll-and-move aspect being criticised a few times for being quite slow (a pretty common criticism for these kinds of games). One of the suggestions was to automatically give players the choice of moving either 1, 6 or 10 spaces, rather than rolling a dice - looking at the board I'd probably extend that to 1, 6 or 12 spaces, rather than 10, for maximum speed, as the nearest locations from the start are about 11 spaces at least.BBP wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 1:48 am I remember that we attempted to play it one time (some variant) and that the game was abandoned, but I can't remember the exact details, other than that I was professor Plum and rolled very low eyes on occasion. Giving the game a Clue theme would be fun - I could really see it in the 2002 universe, set on the grounds of the mansion perhaps.

Re: Clue Current Thoughts
I was looking at one of Poirotfrmda818 old games and this has been kind of bothering me for a while now (years in fact) I worked out who the other actors/actresses/characters are but this one I'm stuck on - any ideas

Re: Clue Current Thoughts
I know this might be old news but does one of the Clue mysteries have a mistake in the solution? I don't have my copy of the game any more sadly

I found a picture of a house that looks like Boddy Mansion/Blackwell Grange from the 1998 PC game

Really need to post here more

I like that episode's music especially the Postscript 2 section. I wish TVM would post much more Cluedo music ASAP!
Re: Clue Current Thoughts
In the CD-ROM version there's an alibi mistake in the sleuth level of Blackmail. The killer should've been in another room to notice the murder weapon.
