Oh that does look pretty cool!

In the 'Guess Who?' family of games there is also 'Guess Where?' which looks kind of like Clue Suspects.

I rather wonder about the mystery genre right now.

To keep it simple, the police are undergoing EXTREMELY tight scrutiny right now. What's this going to mean for a genre where police officers are very often protagonists or well acquainted with the protagonist? Certainly it won't die of course, and with so little police presence in most games Clue will be just fine... but what will the next course be for the genre in the face of all this?

I imagine there will be several books/shows that use the current state of things as the basis for their characters personal stories that are peppered through-out the mystery. But I'm sure most won't change all that much.
IT'S ALL TOO SHOCKING!

That's the interesting contradiction of it, isn't it? The arts are quick to respond to changing social trends, yet mystery is very rooted in memories of the past. I suppose that's why I'm so unsure, anything feels possible.

Glad to see you got to manage to work it! I'm now trying this in other browsers to see if the workaround needs additional information. So far, IE, Opera and Firefox work roughly the same.
Oh in Edge it's Inspect, not Inspect Element.

2 Cluedo games just arrived in the mail today. 1980s German Cluedo and the 1990s German Cluedo.

I have always wanted these editions simply to make a "frankenclue" using the never-seen-in-english suspects. So now that I own them, I am one step closer ;) In this "frankenclue" project I am planning on using Peacock, Mustard, and Green from the 80s/Scarlet, White, and Plum from the 90s as the cast.

The 1990's Baronin Von Porz has a real Meryl Streep look about her...

Good luck with your project!

I also thought that! And Mustard has a Steve Martin as Clouseau thing going on too

I personally love everyone from the 90s cast aside from Green. He just doesn't stand out that much. Maybe that's the point? But comparatively I have always had a soft spot for 1972 Green and VCR Green, so merging them is heavenly.

I wonder why they used illustrations of the actors from the Clue VCR Mystery Game instead of just using the photos of the actors that came on the cards in the Clue VCR Mystery Game.

I think it's kind of cool they did artwork of the actors from the VCR game (although that version of Mrs White is a bit iffy) - it makes them slightly more consistent with other versions of the game.

I highly recommend picking up an edition that uses these cards and the 1972 cover. The whole cover has been re-illustrated in the 1972 style. I'll take a picture of the US 70s and this edition side by side sometime today.

You know I didn't realize until today that the box covers of the 1972, 1986, and 1992 editions all have the suspects in the same spot (even in similar positions). The 1972 edition I inherited after my grandparents passed away. While cleaning out their house I came across it and luckily was the only person interested in keeping it.

I'd like to take that one further with the 1996 LONG box version using the same format. Might be a long shot, but:

On the 1996 US Long box, notice the 3 Wall Sconces and how they coincide with the 3 Lamps commonly in the room from 1972, 1986, and 1992. (left lamp/peacock)(window)(plum/right lamp). The characters are switched up, but the grouping numbers/room details are not.

FROM left to right (left lamp/alone)(fireplace)(duo)(middle lamp)(window/trio/right lamp)

ALONE WITH LAMP/SCONCE - Peacock(72-92)/Green(96)
DUO NEAR FIREPLACE - Scaret & Mustard(72-92)/Peacock & Mustard(96)
TRIO CLUSTER - Green, White, Plum(72-92)/Scarlet, Plum, White(96)

So apparently there’s a Cluedo book released in France, with art done by Nelson Daniel, who did the 2017 IDW Comic:
I like the designs of the characters:
