Had a weird dream last night where I was in the middle of a Cluedo mystery, and was almost at the end, where the Poirot-esque detective was about to reveal the who, how and why....when my alarm went off.

:x  :x

It had something to do with the grapes on the dining table, that the victim had moved.....guess I'll never know.

I had a dream where Miss Scarlet was drowning me in the bath. It was a wet dream.

Speaking of which - Clue: The Movie will be marking its 30th Anniversary this year! How shall we commemorate the occasion?

I think I might try and convert Clue: Murder, Mystery & Mayhem! into a Tabletop Simulator addon. Would CluedoKid be alright with that if I did?

I was reading through my Agatha Christie magazine and I found this image

Those of you who remember, I had an autograph by Kate on both a Clue Card and a Photograph. This was the last thing I watched of hers before she passed away.

Discovered there was a Dutch mystery TV show called Moordspel, hosted by Ron Brandsteder. Here is the end part of one episode. The loser got a Video 8 camera and the winner a Ford Escort.

Here's what I could find out about the show:
Scripts for the murders were bought from Thames production Who Done It.
6 episodes made, every show had a murder mystery shown in bits. Players were both a panel made of celebs, and apparently some elimination game for regular folk as shown in the final bit. Viewers at home could play along with the show and win pretty decent prizes.

The show was well-liked and popular enough to span a home Moordspel release; however, it was discontinued when, shortly after the first episode airing, the actor who played the murder victim had a heart attack and died. The show got bad publiity over it and was forced to quit.
EDIT: Probably not. A more plausible scenario is that it was a heavy-duty show - the format was dropped and replaced by a much more popular game show with newly-weds in their wedding attire plunging in a huge bowl of tomato soup.

Clue the Movie is airing uncut and commercial free this month on Starz and Encore for those who have it. It's also on demand for those who have these movie channels.

It's the first time I've seen the HD version like this, and it's just amazing. Wow that set was beautiful and the costumes fantastic ...
