Old Tudor Close Website?

Post by Green »

Does anyone remember an old Clue website called Tudor Close? I don't remember a lot of it, but I remember the author had invented detailed profiles for the characters. I remember that Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond portrayed Mrs. White and the original names were used (Vivienne, Michael, Blanche, Jonathon, Elizabeth, and Peter). I can remember snippets of bios, too:

Scarlet was born on the streets and was engaged to Green. Green's father, however, disapproved of Scarlet because he figured his son could do better.

White's maiden name was Bucket.

Peacock was born Elizabeth Mustard and was actually the Colonel's sister.

Anyone else have an idea of what I'm talking about?

i do, but it's shut down and i haven't been able to get to it

teri hatcher was miss scarlet; sean connery was colonel mustard; doris roberts was mrs white; pierce brosnan was mr green; lauren bacall was mrs peacock; and the guy who played superman in the tv series was professor plum, i think

and there were two main mysteries, right? one where dr black was killed and another where mr boddy was killed (the latter was during a new year's party, if i remember correctly)

then there were a bunch of small mysteries, one of which included miss peach but i don't remember who portrayed her

that was a great website - it had great art for each of the suspects, too

it's a shame that it was taken down - or whatever fate fell upon it - because there was a story that was going to be added which was going to go through the trial of the murderer

I actually never read the mysteries. I found it years ago, I must have only been eleven or twelve, maybe thirteen, and I wasn't as much into Clue as I am now. I've always wondered who portrayed the other characters, since I didn't know of any of them back then, so thanks for specifying! I just remember that the bios were really intriguing. I've been searching for that website for almost a year now, I wish it was still up.

I remember it clearly too. I just wish I could visit it again and revive the memories.

You could use the Wayback Machine to find it - but only if you can guess the original URL:

How did I miss this topic?!

I remember this, and I remember I printed all the stories out and the bios.

Your welcome.

It was simple really. I forgotten the actual link to the Tudor Close site, but then I remembered the Cluedofan.com had a link to it, so I went back into the achieves of outdated pages of Cluedofan, and sure enough the link was intact in 2001.

Awesome website  I think I went there once (just looking at pictures) and I got it mixed up with An On-Going Internet Story (same black backgorund and I wasn't reading either back then) but wow! That is awesome! :) :)
