Favourite Standard Weapon set

Post by CluedoKid »

Taking away the obvious option of expanded edition which include poisons and axes, which standard weapon set do you feel is the nicest?

This may be cheating on my own poll, but in the end, I had to pick other. I LOVE the look of the weapons from the movie. Specially the Knife, Revolver and Lead Pipe...and heck the rest of them too. (Dammit, hopefully the rest of you won't keep choosing other for this reason.)

If I had to pick a board game weapon set I'd pick 1972 weapons. I love that they are actual photos, and they also look potentially gruesome.

Oh yes, in terms of pieces, I love PTM's weapon tokens!

Weapon pieces or the cards themselves?

I like the 50th Anniversary/Super Cluedo weapons. They're very elegant, just like the suspects, and they feel better than the standard weapons of late. I could imagine the suspects engaging in their deadly deeds using those weapons...

Other, the 50th Anniversary weapons are my favorites, even without the poison. It has the best suspect pieces, too, I think.
