Ah, no, not the pen - on the right side of the martini picture, there's a white thing that looks like a napkin, I think, and on top of it is a black object that looks like some kind of gun to me.
I really don't see that... :(

i - for one - think that everyone's observations have been most enlightennig, especially since i didn't catch any of them; still, i can't wait for someone to get this game and to find out what's inside this box ...

So you mean that there is more to this game than trying to find things that are hidden in the picture on the box?? Get out of town. Grrr, email says mine will be here in 3 days.

Well, I think it's funny how it's available online but Hasbro doesn't even know about it's existance.

I was thinking that. How sad will those of us that ordered from Amazon be if it comes and it turns out to be the 2002 edition.

It's a man's arm. There's a wristwatch and cuff links.

Here I am having no life again! What we've spotted:

Image

1. Scarlet – Obvious
2. Top of Star (from award trophy?)
3. Shadow of Award Trophy
4. Camera-like flashes?
5. Shadow of man with Rope or some other item
6. Photograph-style pictures (like 8X10’s)
7. Whispering couple (Peacock/Peach? And Plum)
8. At least seven visible figures in mansion windows
9. Palm tree
10. Clock and Man’s watch almost point to same time (Close to midnight)
11. Lipstick and signature on napkin/stationary
12. Martini Glass
13. Pen
14. Candlestick shadow on invitation
15. Figure holding up star on invitation matches shadow on Scarlet’s neck.

I think yours will be there before I get mine, Depboy. Make sure you take lots of pictures.

On a side note... what do all of you think about this Hollywood styled game now that we can be more certain that that's what it is? Like or dislike the idea? I think it'll definitely take away from the game... for me anyway. I will love it, like I love all my Clue games, but I highly doubt this will be my favorite.
Was it Miss Scarlet with the Candlestick in the Ballroom? Yes... yes it was.

I think it'll be a nice addition. If there's any place to set a murder mystery besides an English country home, it's a Hollywood mansion/hotel (a hotel would be better for Hollywood, though).

Ugh, I'm so mad at myself. In my rush to check out, I forgot to check the shipping address for the game, and it was sent to my dorms. Luckily, I know the girl that does the mail, and she assured me that she'll hold it for me. It's said to arrive on Wednesday, and my b/f lives close to school. so I'll just pick it up when I see him. I guess it all works out in the long run :D

I just ordered one too, but I'm leery. Why does Amazon.com list it as usually ships in 1-2 months, but the other stores there have it in stock? I wonder if they actually do have it in stock...
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?
