I'm already obsessing over whether or not there will be chase variants, blood splattered variants... goodness.

I'm thinking the weapon distribution might be -

Scarlet - Candlestick
Mustard - Revolver
White - Wrench (confirmed)
Green - Lead Pipe (confirmed)
Peacock - Knife
Plum - Rope

The Candlestick, Knife, and Rope could really go any way between Scarlet, Peacock, and Plum, but I think it's a safe guess that Mustard will have the Revolver.

Will funkos grasp of all the properties never cease? Shall their tentacles strangle all media on earth until every character so much as conceptualized is warped into these ugly idols? All shall perish under Funko's chains, and death will be a sweet release from their loaf-headed curse.

I recognize the designs, it's the 90s game, right? I wonder if they'll make a Mr. Boddy OR the little black dog that's on the cover

I've never seen the appeal of Funko Pop's but it's nice that Clue/do is finally getting the Funko treatment, I suppose

Just yesterday actually I went on a tirade about them to a friend of mine

The mass homogenization of every franchise imaginable into this limp attempt to be cutesy didn’t bug me at first. But as time goes on and they only get more and more inexplicably popular, they just drained more life for me. As though we are given one option for entertainment goods, and it’s these omnipresent poorly designed mistakes.

People often make lists of like, the ugliest Funko pops, but the worst one isn’t bad in terms of design. Someone made a Funko pop of Syd vicious. Sid vicious of all people, a cutesy hypercommercialized figure of legendary punk rock star Sid Vicious. The vast majority of them I write off as bad, but I truly cannot think of a term for that one other than morally reprehensible to the person in question.

And like can they at least leave my obscure fandoms like clue alone? One day they’re going to slap their loaf model onto Pajama Sam and Ghost Trick and I’m just going to die the death

I just ignore them, mostly, I mean if people want to pay money for them then that's cool for them - and if they are going to make money, of course people are going to licence their properties for it, especially a company like Hasbro

Looks like it's just Mrs. White and Mr. Green for now! Let's hope they release all 6 in time!

I wonder if they would do a version of Orchid as well?

If they're going old-school and have Mrs. White as a maid, Orchid may not be too likely. (At least not until after they come out with the rest of the original six first.)

But then again, who knows what logic they have with who / when?
And how would they do Miss Scarlet? Will she look more like the '70s-'80s version or more like one from another era?

It looks to me like they are doing the 1996 US Edition. Though, it could be Murder at Boddy Mansion.

My boyfriend, who has quite an impressive Funko Pop collection, thinks Col. Mustard and Mrs. Peacock will be the chase exclusives due to their "more-detailed" appearance. Miss Scarlet and Professor Plum may end up being Walmart/GameStop/Hot Topic exclusives, but I think it's safe to say that Mrs. White and Mr. Green will be commons.

As for Dr. Orchid, it was announced in the "Retro Games" line of Funko Pops, so no, I do not think we will see her.

At any rate, we probably won't be seeing any of them until early next year. :(

Unless, of course, they decide to add to the line just in time for Christmas/Hanukkah* shopping?

(* "Hanukkah" or "Chanukah" or however one choses to spell it.)

Pretty sure it’s ‘96.

I highly doubt that Hasbro would use the MABM gang anything soon (sadly).

A leaked list of the "Hasbro line" has confirmed:

White with Wrench
Green with Lead Pipe
Scarlet with Candlestick
Plum with Rope

Mustard and Peacock are likely going to be in-store exclusives.

My guess? Mustard is gamestop/hot topic exclusive and Peacock is target/walmart exclusive

HOWEVER, since the name is "Hasbro" instead of the original "Retro Games" does that mean White and Orchid? I could see them doing classic 6 + Orchid, but I'm not sure if they'll do the victim. They did try to make a body on the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant mascot... it was... yeah... it happened.

Regardless it is not going be released as "retro toys/games" or "hasbro" but instead as "Clue" line.
I'm not holding my breath for Peach and Meadow-Brook, since the demand is NOT THERE.

I'm not really a fan of Funko Pops, but I do have a handful. Poe Dameron, Robin, Renly Baratheon, and the whole collection of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Looks like I'm going to add more to my small collection with the Clue characters.

haha that's how my bf's MASSIVE collection started. He just wanted a couple Game of Thrones and Walking Dead pops. Now every wall has a small shelf or whole-*** theme.

Funko pop buying is very close to gambling at this point with how much the rare ones are worth.

I'm also careful about which franchises I'll buy Funko Pops of. Like with Disney for example, there's so many Disney characters that I wasn't about to start buying Disney Funko Pops. I have enough Disney merchandise as it is. But with Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children and Clue, there's not a lot of mainstream merchandise for those franchises so I'm happy to buy Funko Pop's of them to have something to display at home.

EDIT: Oh shoot, I just realized I do have one Disney Funko Pop of Madame Leota from The Haunted Mansion. She is my favorite Disney character, so hopefully I won't find myself buying more Disney characters.
