Hey, TheWhitePawn, if you think that was cool, wait until you see this: https://theartofmurder.com/forums/viewt ... =1&t=22481TheWhitePawn wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 8:23 am This was such a good idea, Zoo977. I had so much fun looking through some of these old projects. I made two of my own Clue editions many years ago. One was called The Airship Murder and it took place aboard a trans-Atlantic zeppelin. The other was a version of The Great Museum Caper. I tried to search for both through my old posts, but I can't seem to find either in the archives. I believe Michael said there was some data loss from some of our far older posts on this board, which is a shame. It would have been fun to revisit those too.
But I'm presently working on making a new Clue game out of wood. I connected with a woodworker several weeks ago, and he's been helping me bring it to life. Most of the plans for the board are done (I changed the board layout a bit) and I've begun working on the cards. I still haven't decided what kind of art I want on the cards, but I'll create a new post about this edition to share with you all when some of the details come together!
Edit: Even though the forum's search turned out nothing, Google came to the rescue! The thread for the Airship Murder is still here! https://theartofmurder.com/forums/viewt ... f=1&t=1936
The images that were hosted have disappeared since then, but I think I have them somewhere, so I will add them back in.

#1 They AREN'T your mysteries - you're piggybacking off on someone else idea for your own mystery series (I'm also assuming you didn't get permission)GarfieldBuilder wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 1:29 amActually I haven't even started yet. I need players

Re: Master Project Repository
I think what Black is trying to say is that we haven't really seen you produce anything for the forum. You have made many topics about concepts of a story or game, but it never went anywhere because you had no players. So try and start small, write a little mystery that doesn't need players, and work from there. It doesn't have to be a game or anything. Your first project doesn't have to be a grand thing with character art and other pictures. Trust me we will like it for what it is. Even the most experienced, long-term forum members struggle to keep games going which is why we haven't done them in a very long time. Start small, find your footing, and your writing skills and everything else will fall together seamlessly. Hell, after all these years I still can't draw a character face to save my life. Don't be discouraged if you don't have a huge audience or more than 2-3 readers, not everything is going to be for every Clue fan. Write for you, and you alone, and let the audience find it.GarfieldBuilder wrote: ↑Sun Dec 25, 2022 8:09 amLook, I don't have any art. Re: Master Project Repository
Since Christmas has come and gone, I believe I should tell you guys I had in my mind for a few years now.
Clue: 12 Days of Christmas
The basic premise is this: Dr. Thomas Black, a wealthy and eminent archaeologist, has decided to spent the Christmas holiday at Chateau du Nuit, a former family retreat turned to a exclusive winter resort (managed by the Black family) in the Swiss Alps. Along with him he invites some of his closest friends and family members:
The story would start on December 13th and wrap up on the 25th, Christmas Day, with each day being a chapter (12 chapters in total).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now you might be saying "Hey Jonathan Green, this sounds like Cluedokid's Last Noel and And Then There Were None", and well... you're right, but those are not the main inspirations. The main inspiration is the thirteenth episode of the second series of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries "Murder Under The Mistletoe", which has a similar story. I was also inspired by the video game, Murder in the Alps.
While I do have thought out some of the major plot points of the story, as well as the potential killer(s), I haven't really written anything about it. You see, I'm more of a lore builder than a story teller. I always wanted to write stories like Cluedokid, Cacums, Peachfreak, and others like them, but I could never for some reason just write it out.
Also I don't know HOW to present this, either as a regular text story with some illustrations, or as a comic.
I do hope to share this story one day. We'll see.

- The doctor's Parisian-born wife Mrs. Angeline White, a famed chef.
- His two adopted daughters, biologist Dr. Charlotte Orchid and American-born heiressMiss Penelope Peach.
- His sister Rose, a author of gothic and mystery stories written under the pen name of Madame Rose.
- Society matron Mrs. Alice Peacock, Black's maternal aunt, and her daughter Miss Marilyn Scarlet.
- Sportswoman Lady Alexandra Oakwood, his half-cousin.
- Retired military veteran and professional hunter Colonel Arthur Mustard, a family friend and a suitor of Mrs Peacock.
- Successful banker and playboy Mr. Forrest Green, Black's childhood friend and financial advisor.
- Professor Thaddeus Plum, a Scottish archaeologist and Black's mentor back at Oxford.
- Mr. Wadsworth Ash, the family butler who served as Dr. Black's care taker during his childhood.
- Mlle. Marie Violette, a French parlourmaid who also serves as Miss Peach's lady's maid and companion.
