Re: PF Mysteries: The Case of the Adjacent Actuality
Thank you, Black. Great eye on recognizing some of the models. I'm very much going for that "modern period show" look with picking folks. Scene 4: In Which Two Soldiers Privately Conspire The billiard room was a place of thick carpet, dark wood, and pungent liquor, where a mounted elk head would not...

Re: PF Mysteries: The Case of the Adjacent Actuality
Scene 3: In Which a Housekeeper Objects to the Diabolical Mrs. Myrna White was many things: cook, housekeeper, home security system when armed with a rolling pin. But what she was not that evening was calm. Her typical facade of stone had given way to a worried lip and knitted brow. Fidgeting aroun...

Re: PF Mysteries: The Case of the Adjacent Actuality
Scene 2: In Which Some Scientists Show off Their Lab Blip, blip, blip. The mansion’s lounge—or lounge-boratory , as it were—was abuzz with the steady whirr of electrical currents, sending the various devices around the room beeping, booping, and spinning. Rain was pattering against the heavily drap...

PF Mysteries: The Case of the Midway Man
Hello, everyone. I really hope you're all doing well. I know I haven't really been active here in some time, but I do pop in now and again to lurk. I realized recently that this month marks 13 years since I first joined The Art of Murder, and for that reason, I decided to channel some creativity int...

Re: Current Thoughts
I just saw the horror-comedy Ready or Not, and funnily enough, parts of it do feel rather Clue-like, from the sprawling stylized mansion setting, to the batty characters bumbling about with murder weapons, to the sort of campy murdery board-gamey nature. Thumbs-up.

The Crimson Diamond: Laura Bow-style Adventure Game
I know there was some love for The Colonel's Bequest and The Dagger of Amon Ra on these forums, so I'd thought I'd share a project that's currently in the works from designer Julia Minamata. A playable demo is now available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWEfmPgaqpE The Crimson Diamond is a text p...

Clue: It Edition
Forgive me if this has been shared already, but the title makes it a bit of a challenge to search for it. That said, USAopoly has released a themed edition based on the remake of Stephen King’s IT with the object of discovering which kid was taken by Pennywise. https://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/cgi...

Re: Zoo's Clue Art
These are all really great! I love the nail art, even with the Winehouse resemblance. Wow, and I really just love "Little Miss Bubbles" as a character idea. I think that's hilarious.

Silence. For a house that had been echoing all night with chatter, with wild accusations, with the ticking of distant clocks, the grinding of hidden gears, and the rattling of wind-beaten windows, the chateau was suddenly completely and suffocatingly silent . "I had not considered that possibility,...

"Not so obvious, I fear," Flax retorted. "You can rest more easily, madame. Perhaps it is the earliness of the hour, but I just had an amusing thought. Would it not be convenient were there some sort of...envelope in the center of the house? One which we could investigate to find the truth?" [Sir Sh...

Not that this whole affair is not already an incident of international magnitude ." Flax replied, pursing her lips together. "Blueblood ...
