Re: Cats Or Dogs
I, too, am more of a cat person. Had cats as pets most of my life, and in general they involve less maintenance if you're not home all the time or if it's really nasty weather outside. Several of the cats (including my current one) have been strays. No purebreds or pet shop buys (at least as far as ...

Re: Clue Novel: In The Hall With The Knife
Any idea if/when a paperback version may be released?
(Yeah, it may not be that expensive for a hardcover, but I'm assuming a tpb would be even cheaper, and I don't read e-books.)

Re: Clue North Pole Edition
If anyone is still looking for a way to get this game without Amazon. Five Below in the United States has it for $5. Box is in good shape. My location had a bunch left over. But some locations might be sold out for the holidays. Haven't seen em in other Dollar stores yet. I’d never heard of Five Be...

Re: Clue(do) rules: Making an Accusation
Well I can’t upload the photo I just took on my phone of the 1979 rules because even if I crop it down to a single sentence it says the image is too large... By the way, my version would have been from the early 1970s, so even a 1979 version might have had a change (if there was any change from wha...

Re: Last Minute Shopping? - Use this Amazon.com Link
I LOVE Barnes and Nobles. I work a few blocks away from one I've got three locations within about 25 miles of where I live, one being in a neighboring town that's easy to get to. There are quite a few others beyond that range, but unfortunately a few years back the one near where I use to live was ...

Re: Clue(do) rules: Making an Accusation
I don’t think so, I own the most recent version of Clue (2016) and it doesn’t say any of that. The version of ClueⓇ I use to have was from the 1970s, so I'm thinking it would have possibly been in one of the (much) older versions. Then again, it may have been a house rule we had or just something t...

I must confess, I had no idea who "Laura Bow" is/was and had to look her up on Google.

Clue(do) rules: Making an Accusation
I recently bought the Clue Ⓡ "Retro Series" version, hoping I can get somebody to play me when my sister is visiting for Christmas. Since it has been a while since I played Clue Ⓡ , and since back in the day we had our own house version of some of the rules, I thought I should review the rules in th...

Re: Game Boxes: Long or Square?
With me, it all depends on the game.
Part of me prefers long boxes for the game boards, since fewer folds in the game board usually improves the chance of the opened board lying flatter when you are playing the game.

Re: Last Minute Shopping? - Use this Amazon.com Link
I bought some books for my sister this month through Amazon, but that was before I joined this site.
Normally I don't use Amazon. (I usually buy my books from Barnes & Noble.)

Re: Personalized license plates
Do you have personalized plates on your car? Or seen any good ones? Back in Illinois, they were so popular. Here in Jersey, you rarely ever see them. I remember seeing personalized license plates in New Jersey. I use to live in Montclair NJ (Essex County / near Newark / not too far outside of NYC) ...

Re: Are children ruder?
I think society in general is different in public behavior than it use to be. Technology / social media is one culprit, since when everybody is so focused on things like their smart phones, they really don't think about others around them. As for the kiddies who aren't plugged in, do they have adult...

Re: Never wear mauve at a ball...
Why haven’t we done away with Daylight Savings? Its just awful I don't know . . . I like when it's still light out in the early evening. Though I do admit the Sundays when we changed the clocks an hour ahead in the +/-spring use to be one of my least favorite days, but that was because I use to hav...

A broken clock is alway right two times a day There are exceptions to that rule. All depends on if it's a digital or analog clock (broken digital clocks may not show ANY time) and on what time the broken clock is stopped at. (Depending on the time the clock stopped at and whether you're changing th...

Any reason why "You may select up to 3 options "? :? So people wouldn't get mad. But since the choices are: male female other Wouldn't " other " cover anybody who doesn't identify themselves as just "male" or just "female"? If somebody has days where they identify themselves as "male", but other ti...
