Re: Escape The Night - "Be Careful What You Wish For" (S04E07) w/ Cluedo Challenge

I've binge watched this entire series multiple times; I absolutely love it (so I know who dies in that episode). You know there's a board game of Escape the Night, right?

Re: Disney's "Guilty Party" 2010 Video-Game Thoughts

It's a really fun game. Very campy, but pulls off the kookiness quite well. It's like a cross between Clue and Where In The World Is Carmen San-Diego. One of the guys who worked on it created one of my favorite games: Max Gentlemen Sexy Business.

Re: The Brand New Game of Clue (Roleplaying Game)

I would love to create figures, but I'm not sure of any simulators that are still online and I am not artistically gifted like other members of the board. Do you have any suggestions? Back in the day I enjoyed the Mad Men character creator, but I don't think that would still be active. I was going ...

Re: Story Driven Clue Game

Oh my gosh I absolutely love it! One suggestion though, maybe use gray for both Ashe and Mrs. White? I love your choice in coloring each person's name and the tone is excellent. Also there's a link to Cluedofan on TheArtofMurder's link page. Super cool! Thank you! I always feel a bit strange when w...

I loved this game back in the day. The main story line in it actually inspired a story I've been developing for years.

Re: Story Driven Clue Game

I haven't worked out all of the details yet, but I did want to start the story at least as a sort of teaser. When I'm ready to start game I'll create a new forum thread for it, but here's a sample of it for now: Ashe Baking soda... baking powder... what’s the difference? If it matters so much, why d...

Re: Story Driven Clue Game

Loved reading your posts in that other Clue game so I can't wait for this! If I understand correctly, it will be like those stories on Cluedofan? OMG, I haven't been to Cluedofan in years! I could never remember the name of the site to go back to it. This is a cross between a novel and a game of Cl...

Re: Story Driven Clue Game

Solution has been randomized. Now it's a matter of determining motive, possible motives for the other 5, and including clues that add up to incriminating the culprit without it being too obvious.

Re: Rev. or Mr. Green?

I expect Mr. Green in Clue and Rev. Green in Cluedo. I do like that Green masquerading as a reverend had made it into some editions of Green's backstory in Clue as a nod to the origins of the character. Audiences not wanting to see a reverend as the murder is why Rev Green wasn't the murderer in the...

Re: Let’s Play Classic Clue #1 (Solved by PrinceAlarming)

I had the solution after my second turn. It's true that in the board game an accusation can be made after a suggestion, but I didn't mind waiting until my next turn to make an accusation. It was very nail biting for me to see if someone had pieced it together before my turn came around again, which ...

Re: New Clue/Monopoly combo

The only problem with that kind of set-up, IMO, is that having the players go around a board to collect the cards is just pointless extending of the game - it's just holding off the good stuff (making suggestions, etc). Which is the fundamental flaw of Monopoly. It's luck based, not skill based. It...

Re: New Clue/Monopoly combo

I thought this was going to be some kind of Clue/Monopoly hybrid game for a second based on the title lol It might be possible to have a Clue! game like Monopoly for the first part if you have the players go around a Monopoly-style board and "buy" the cards (people / weapons / rooms) instead of jus...
