Re: Custom color pawns
Looks kind of like a Werther's Original - very lolly-like, with the colours. More practice and some cleaning up and you'll have some real winners!

Re: Clue: Garden Party Mystery
Various forms of bludgeoning, depending on the strength of the murderer, would be the main other method.

Re: Clue: Garden Party Mystery
Drowning was suggested as an alternative use for the Bucket in Clue FX as well (fill it with water and drown someone in it).

. . . And no shots of the playing pieces? Are we getting the lame Sorry! piece reuses again? . . . Maybe use just use whatever you have around your house? https://i67.servimg.com/u/f67/18/91/37/14/60002010.jpg  I'm sure they'll include pieces - the North Pole Edition came with Sorry! style pla...

Re: Clue: Garden Party Mystery
There's only 7 locations - the house is a start space that you can't make suggestions in, and the pool in the middle is also just there for your evidence cards to be placed. It's a reskin of the North Pole Edition from the other year, which in turn used a similar layout to the Road Trip game. Also, ...

Re: Clue: Garden Party Mystery
But those weapons and that Barbie's Dream House box... I suppose my biggest qualm is with the Wheelbarrow as a weapon. Thank goodness they replaced Mrs. White for Dr. Orchid. I couldn't even begin to imagine Mrs. White rolling someone over with the Wheelbarrow in the Rose Beds. I do like the use of...

Re: Non-Clue Board Games
Another game variant that I posted over at Board Game Geek, for Sorry! with Fire & Ice Power-Ups (that I posted a review for a few months back): Despite (or more likely because of) the somewhat poorly explained and play tested mechanics introduced by the inclusion of the Fire and Ice power-ups, I ha...

Re: Broken Vows - The Clue Project That Never Was
I was talking to Zoo about this idea earlier via PM and they said that it was fine to post it here - when Zoo posted about the Killer role in their game idea, ideas started going through my head about how that potentially be a good base for a Clue expansion where the entire game is about trying to b...

Re: Where to find the Orchid miniature?
I can see why you would prefer completed miniatures
seriously, though, those are some good ideas on how to customise those figures into new characters - working with what you had available, you came up with some decent recipes for character bases!

Re: Where to find the Orchid miniature?
It just makes her not an option for Mme Rose, who is the other female who REALLY needs a mini. 😞 Ah yes, Madame Rose is probably a bit harder to make out of those figures - if you look for 'gypsy' or 'fortune teller' miniatures, you might be able to find something that would work for Madame Rose (a...

Re: Where to find the Orchid miniature?
The pants aren't really that big a problem, just present the character as a sporty type, or a progressive type - I'm not sure historical accuracy was on their minds when they made those figures  and Clue tends more towards evoking theme and setting rather than exact period detail, so I don't th...

Re: Broken Vows - The Clue Project That Never Was
Tabletop Simulator can be a great resource for testing out game ideas! I've worked on a few difference game variants, mainly related to Monopoly, Sorry! and Battleship, although I have a couple of other game boards I want to create Cluedo variants for as well. I know you said that you're not working...
