Re: Golden Girls Clue coming.
I was at Barnes and Noble this weekend filling out my clue collection because they're having a 20% off sale for members, and I noticed something that I haven't seen discussed here yet. There appears to be a second printing of the Golden girls clue game. I got the original printing which has the "fac...

Clue's 70th anniversary
Anyone think Hasbro will release a special edition to commemorate the 70th Anniversary next year? The 50rh Anniversary edition has always been in my top 3 favorite Editions.

Variant Rules
I play a lot of board games with friends, and one complaint several of them have with Clue is how random your luck can be with movement, because it's a "roll & move" game. To address this, I created a variant that they were happy with. Instead of rolling to move, on your turn you must move to an adj...

Clue Comic & Mysterium
Hello everyone, long time no see! Hope everyone is well, and ready for the holidays. I apologize if either of these are reposts, but I've fallen too far behind to read the backlog of posts I've missed :( Anyway, I had two items to share. First up is this comic: https://scontent-lax3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/h...

Well that stinks... apparently either Hasbro or whoever owns the Game of Thrones sent a cease and desist letter to them
But you can see it here in all it's glory... for now anyway

ThinkGeek.com, my favorite purveyor of geeky items, had this gem among their annual collection of April Fools items. I kinda wish it was real haha.

Loooooong time no see.
Hello all! Sorry I've been away for so long :( But I had some Las Vegas related Clue items I wanted to mention. Forgive me if these have both already been posted/discussed. I did a quick scan of the thread topics and didn't see anything. 1) There was apparently a short-lived Clue-themed mystery dinn...

I'm really torn about the quality of this game... On one hand, it allows the price to be $10, rather than $20, which increases the chance people will buy it over other games. On the other hand, it's really a piece of junk :( I guess as long as Clue Classic Edition from Winning Moves is available at ...

Also, what happened to the Intrigue card spaces? Are those cards only for use with the beach theme now? Did they speed the game up too much? As a matter of fact, they did speed up the game. In the new instructions, it says to place the following number of cards face-up for everyone to mark off, and...

ya, I'll take a pic of the mansion side board so you guys can see it better... I was so focused on the boardwalk side I didn't even notice the lack of stairs and the new bedroom wall lol. I think this 2-sided board is a great solution to the Traditional vs. updated/fresh debate I have to assume the ...

New new standard edition
So I was at Target tonight, and noticed that the newest mass market version of Clue now comes in a square box, which is more standard for board games in general nowadays. But upon further inspection, they added more to the game. The board is now double-sided. The modern mansion is on one side, and a...

Today I played another game which I believe was inspired by Clue, Lady Alice. In my opinion, it wasn't that fun compared to others like Mystery of the Abbey, and it felt like they we trying too hard. it just made me wish I was playing Clue lol http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/126912/lady-alice

Possible Exclusive?
So I have a friend who's buddy works for Hasbro, and he often gets me free games from him. Yesterday I asked him to see about getting me a copy of the Dungeons & Dragons and Big Bang Theory editions. He sent me back a message today saying, "Do you want the South Park one too? So it's possible that U...
