Maybe I need to be a fan of the show to appreciate this. I'm not really fond of the whole CIA look they are imposing on Clue these days.

Of course, if this was the only version Clue with this given look, then it would make sense, but sadly it isn't. This is the look they want to define Clue as. If anything, it takes itself too seriously.

It certainly looks real enough, but how could it already be on ebay if we haven't heard anything about it before? I guess it's possible, but...odd.

I'm not a fan of 24, in fact, I've never seen an episode of it, but I thought the modern CIA looks fits this theme perfectly. It doesn't change Clue itself, its just a themed version. And I think the board looks neat.

Ok, so after some research, it appears that this is real and is being made by USAopoly.

Or so I thought. But there's nothing on the USAopoly site about it (or anything Clue-related, for that matter).

This actually looks pretty neat. I've never seen the show, though.

If you’ve seen 24 the idea of any player (except for Jack Bauer) being the double agent is perfect. There’s always someone inside CTU (Counter Terrorism Unit), the White House or, in this season, the FBI working against Jack.

In season one, the finale traitor ended up to be the one person we and Jack trusted the most. The actor didn’t even know it was going to happen until the script appeared. Characters die and change sides all the time in 24, including characters that have been on the show for a long time. That’s why everyone gets to do the shifty suspicious glance look just before scene changes....

You should start with season 1 though you don’t have to.

Oh... This works a lot better with the Cluedo formula than any other themed game so far (apart from Hitchcock). Tony is the Green suspect. I'm intrigued to know what the other two cards are.

Traitor/?/?

Also, the player characters seem to be generic CTU agents.

I don't know, I think most of the special editions work just as well as the Hitchcock version, if not better. These games generally fall into one of three categories: Based On Mysteries (the first Simpsons one, Scooby-Doo, and Harry Potter), Based On "Scary" Properties That Work Well As A Mystery Game (Hitchcock, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror), and Pointless (the 2nd Simpsons game, Dungeons & Dragons).

I've never seen more than a couple episodes, but I'm pretty sure 24 would fall into the first category.[/b]

Sounds interesting, but I've never watched the show, so I'll probably pass on the game. I am curious though if Elisha Cuthebert is a suspect. I think she's gorgeous, and apparently she's on the show as his daughter.

It looks interesting enough. I've never seen the show though, but I might end up buying it eventually if I see it.

I think I'll give it a miss. I've never really watched the show, but from the tv advertisements that I've seen, it's not my sort of thing.

I like the show, so I might give this a go.

The box can't decide if it is square or rectangular.

Looking at the gameboard and tagline used on the box, pretty much looks like they are using the Reinvention system for gameplay. Maybe we'll have "Torture Cards"! Very Happy

Yeah, but it's thick like a square box and stubbier than a normal rectangle.
