I'd like to ask the professor why he bashed Maggie over the head with a pot in the greenhouse.

Mrs. Peacock - Where are the bottles of wine kept in the house? Was the bottle you were drinking the only one you had on hand at the moment?
Stop winking at me, you oversexed Frenchman!

I think it was Mrs. Peacock in the Library with the Wine Bottle

Why - because Jamie or Zoo guessed right and I didn't want Mrs. Peacock to fell left out of the accusations.

But in all seriousness, well done Jamie.

That's outrageous! I did no such thing!

Well I suppose it's not entirely keeping with the format of the game but since we seem to have arrived at the solution anyway, I suppose there's no harm in revealing...

Image

It was the Greenhouse, it was the Flower Pot, and it was Professor Plum!

Fine! I had to do it. I was furious. I had been betrayed, fooled, and bamboozled! And I felt it was my duty to undo what I did, for Elizabeth's sake as well as my own.

I remembered that Maggie had set her notepad down when Mrs. Peacock took us to the Greenhouse, so after she said she had forgotten something, well, I followed her. I figured she'd be there. While she had her back turned I suddenly felt all of the rage inside me building up to an unbearable level. I didn't really plan to kill her, but before I knew it I lunged for the nearest flower pot and hit her with it!

That'll show her... Nobody messes with me, or my friends.

----

Congratulations to Jamie for jumping right on the solution and nabbing the Professor! And thanks to all three of you guys for playing along! Hope you enjoyed it (:

Mrs. Peacock announces her candidacy for Mayor of Arlington on the same day as Autumn’s long-lost mother and Mrs. Peacock’s sister-in-law, the apparently dead Marigold Johnson, makes a surprise appearance at the Grange. How could anything possibly go wrong?

Didn't you already have a character who is a mayor? Evergreen I think her name was.

That's true, I did way back when! I suppose maybe she's stepping down (likely for some scandalous reason that will come back to haunt her later) and is endorsing Mrs. Peacock's candidacy (:

While looking for Mayor Evergreen I discovered a couple other old ones too!

Mayor Carmen Evergreen

Senator Richard Cinnamon

Mrs. Paloma Blanco

Dr. Fredrick Midnight

Will I do anything with them in this series? Maybe not right now, but we'll see!

Yay!!
I thought it had to be the Prof from the start, but was convinced he would have had an argument and pushed into the duck beak. Good game 8)

I thought it was Plum as well but I thought Reverend Green knew more than he was letting on - I should have stuck with my first guess.

So if anybody remembers my mysteries from way back when, I used to do little drawing recreations of the murder sequence using the website Artpad. I was sad to see that it looks like all of my old drawings have gone away, but I decided I'd recreate the solution from this game just for fun. Please keep in mind that I'm still a really bad artist haha- these are just for fun.

Here's Professor Plum with the Flower Pot in the Greenhouse: http://artpad.art.com/gallery/?ns0xak1bmc7c
