It'd be cool to have, but my interests are in multiple areas, not just Clue, so there are bigger and better things to save $ for.

Have you seen the Franklin Mint set that's up on E-Bay right now? Pretty pricey...

It closed at $920! Wow -- maybe I should sell the one I just bought -- that would bring in a tidy profit...

I wiahs I could change my vote. After seeing it in a table, I would die for it. Hopefully I will be able to become an old man with plenty of money left over that I can spend on one of these. Then I'll leave it to my Clue loving oldest child to continue to pass down to his/her children.

We had a Franklin Mint store in our mall (which left about a year ago). I once went in to ask about the Clue game, and the salesperson began to brag how he had one and nobody could get them anymore. Made me angry!
Green - "If he was such a patriotic American, why didn't he just report us to the authorities?"
Wadsworth - "He decided to put his information to good use and make a little money out of it. What can be more American than that?"

This elusive item is the ONLY domestic Clue game I don't own:( And God knows when I'll be able to crown my collection with one. I don't forsee having an extra $1,000 anytime soon to spend on it.

/cry

There are currently 2 more available on ebay...

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

I already own the Fr.Mint version, but the rule book got a lot of water damage when my old roommate's basement sprung a leak! I have been upset about it for years!! I don't even know why I clicked on the above link to see the two games on eBay, but I did, and there was a Buy-It-Now item for the rule book, certificate and ad flyer. Holy Cow!! I'm so happy now!!

I actually got my copy of the game from Drew Struzan who did the character artwork. He autographed the white sleeve of the packing case for the cards and weapons. It's easily my most prized possession on the planet, and I've been sad when i think about it because of the damaged rulebook, but now it's whole again!!! Woo-Hoo!!!!

Thank you, Tom!!!! 8)

I bought my Franklin Mint game on eBay (for only $205 - woohoo!) and its rule book got crushed in the shipping. I wrote to Franklin Mint to see if I could purchase a new one, and they sent me one in the mail for free. I thought that was cool. There was no correspondence, though. I just got the book.
