Hasbro's Roku Channel + CLUE DVD

Post by alwaysPeacock » Mon Jun 30, 2014 10:29 pm

For the interested: I've just discovered Hasbro has created a free channel for the Roku streaming boxes. Much to my surprise, their Clue miniseries is available to stream via the channel. At this moment, only episodes 2-5 are available, so I'm not sure if they're up for a limited time/permanently. I saw the premiere episode on YouTube back when the whole series had been uploaded there, so I'm not too bothered by it not being offered.

Anyway, for anyone here with a Roku box and a desire to watch this series again/for the first time, enjoy! :)

ETA: Looks like a DVD release is set for July 15. I actually really like the cover design. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JJOY4G ... p_s_a_1_11

You say that as if there is an alternative to fire... ;)

Acid, perhaps?

I finally made it through this series. At 24 (I'm getting old...) it wasn't my ideal presentation of Clue for the masses, *but* I feel pretty confident my 9-13 year old self would have eaten it up gladly. B for effort.

I like that they're positioned in the classic cover pose, even if it's cut up to fit in the magnifying glass.

Anyone else notice that David James Lewis who played Richard Allen in Harper's Island (Sploosh...harpoon anyone?) is in this series?

I got this DVD today. Now I can finally watch it! The DVD also has a behind the scenes section. Too bad the movie DVD doesn't...
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

Michael, did you buy it online, or stumble upon it in a store?
