‘THE HUB’ REINVENTS ‘CLUE’ WITH NEW GENERATION OF TEEN STARS!

This really looks like a bad fan production, not a major Hollywood franchise production.

I think Sonic has the right idea about what to do about this show.

I don't hate the concept so much, at least they are modeled on the classic characters. It makes sense to have kids on a kid's show. Sort of a Young Sherlock Holmes for Clue. What I object to in this picture is Scarlet wearing denim booty shorts, Mustard's shirt is untucked, and Green is wearing a hoody!! And they have the nerve to use the elegant backdrop from the 1972 edition with this wardrobe. And what's with the bow tie on Plum? Can't we have a smart nerdy kid on TV without giving him the whole Urkel treatment? Peacock and White to a lesser extent are the only ones who seem appropriate.

On a related note, they must have originally taken a picture of the set used for the '72 edition without any of the models, and possibly without the furniture. Clever idea to go back to one of the most classic images of Clue ever created, even if the connection is lost on the show's audience. I'm actually kinda surprised Hasbro would dredge up something so old fashioned considering the recent makeovers they have given the game.

It surprises me that they didn't push a more DTS style.

Anyway, my reaction was................
 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It may be best for Mr. Boddy to stay dead after this one.

Koo Stark looks a better Scarlet then the one in the picture and might even have a better acting abilty then all six actors put together.

After the hub: Love ponies, hate clue
Someone explain to me what's going on. Please.

The only positive I can think of is that it may bring new members or new discussion to the forum. The site has been fairly dead for some time now, and a revival of interest is needed.

I think I have a plan for that. As soon as I move, I'll start more on the Blackwell Manor mysteries. Which should bring both Lego and Cluedo fans to the forum.

Thats because we used to have a bunch of people making there own Board Games, the RPGs were so active that if you were away from the internet for an hour there would be ten pages of material. We don't have Poirotfrmda818, Adam106, Depboy, munitzer, CluedoAuthor, Niteshade007, or TheWhitePawn anymore :(

I blame it on the fact that Hasbro hasn't provided anything worth while that brings us together. We NEED a new Clue game. The original suspects with a face lift, the original mansion with a different furniture plan, and the original Weapons that look more antique or new, or something. Just no more Franklin Mint Reprofucktions, and no more Deinvention!

That's good to hear Black. You guys are all really good at creating interesting stories. The only reason I don't participate is due to a lack
of time. I wouldn't want the whole board waiting for me to move :D

I agree Cacums, a new version surely would breathe new life to the board.

They're going to have to bring Lauren Faust in! She'll know what to do!

I would just like to let you guys know that I am still here at least once or twice a week :D

I know that means absolutely nothing considering that I have not been contributing in forever, but just a heads-up.

And rest assured, I am still always on the lookout for new Clue things. Should I come across anything, you guys will be the first to know :D

Just a heads up (even though it seems no one really cares): the show will be premiering on The Hub on November 14 at 8 pm Eastern. I have no idea what to expect, but I'll definitely be watching.

EDIT: By the way, I just saw a commercial for it and it looks pretty good, actually. I can't speak to how much like Clue it'll turn out to be, but it IS a serious mystery story.
