Welcome to Boddy Manor

Post by moviemanpa » Thu Aug 31, 2006 9:24 pm

Hi. I'm new to this board and wanted to post a link to my Clue website. It's still in the works and has a loooooong way to go, but I'd like to know what other people think of it.

Hope you like it :D

Good for a first shot, but have I seen some of that text from the world of clue?

No, I looked over every game and book I have for the background information on the characters and wrote them up myself. If there are any similarities between what I wrote and the World of Clue it is completely coincidental.

Just wanted to say I wholeheartedly agree with cacums' endorsement of this site. I've spent hours there, searching for rooms, clues, riddles, etc. It's simultaneously a game and a wealth of knowledge on Clue history. I even made a chart to keep track of where I'd been and what I'd found. Plus if you need copies of the notepads or the instructions for any of the games, you can find them there (if you know where to look).

Some of the secret rooms are incredibly difficult to locate, but I'm pleased to say I think I've visited them all. If you can find your way to the train station and the art museum, you feel like you've really accomplished something.

I stumbled upon the museum (i don't remember but I'll be on it for quite some time) but I never did get to the Train station ( but I'll be on it for quite some time) 8)

I just saw this site for the first time last night and probably spent at least a hour looking around. I give major kudos or "Cluedos" to the guy who started it. Very very fun and very very creative. And I thought I had seen all the rooms, but then I hear about the Train Station, a Spa, the Gatehouse, etc, etc. I think I'll go have another look.
Oh, it's England. Croquet on the lawn, tea in silver teapots, sherry before dinner. One simply has to maintain one's standards!

If I'm right that I've found them all, there are 31 hidden rooms (so far).

Of course, it's not just rooms that are hidden, but weapons, objects and even some of the suspects as well. (And where he hid the crystal paperweight was sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.)

Happy hunting! :D

I've found some more hidden things, as well. Confound it! I want a complete guide to the site, although that'd spoil the fun.

I opened it. There wasn't much there. Have you found the password? You need it to open the trunk. Look for it on the tennis courts.

That is a GREAT website. I can't imagine how long it took to make...

Did anybody solve Madame Rose's riddle??
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

Yep. I did. And I found the hidden words. But I have no idea what they mean.
