No, it hasn't. I've been watching it for a while. I like the design of this box much better than that of the cluedo dvd game.
How do you know what kind of pictures they are if you're such a lay-dee?

I was just about to post a topic about this. I read about it on Cluedofan.com, but hadn't heard anything here. I'm very excited about it. I hope it comes out by March, which is my birthday month. Also, I'm having a Clue Birthday Party! I'll post another topic to explain.

I love that board! I wish the standard edition had room designs like that instead of the Cluedo 2000 board. It would fit in better with FX and the box art for the game.

This is one item I wont want on my shelf. I cant forgive them for replacing the ever classic murder with the ever so PC stealing an item idea. I can't imagine them doing something like that if yuo can take them seriously.

Does anyone own the Cluedo version of this? If so, does the DVD feature live actoes, or animated characters?

There's an intro to each mystery which has 3D animated characters; and then there are a couple of standard 3D animations (e.g. Brown talking to you). The rest of the game has 2D picture montages (flat pictures moving across the screen / fading in and out). There is no live action in the game.

I've just added two animation sequences to the DVD section of Cluedofan.com so you should be able to see what I mean.

Click on the link to Cluedo DVD and they're at the bottom of the section.

I like them, they're very interesting. I was expecting it to be more of a prequel to Clue Mysteries, but apparently it takes place after Meadow-Brook's murder. Well, I guess that makes sense, since Britain does not have an equivalent to Clue Mysteries.

So I figured I would have to be content with waiting for this to come out in order to play it... but I bought a cheap Cyberhome DVD player that, using a quick hack code with the remote, can change which region DVD it will play my Cluedo DVD game. YAY. It is actually pretty cool!

I believe it is available now. If you go to Hasbro's website and click products, it'll show it and shows it is available.
