Mine tends to be The Black Cauldron because no singing.

Also Pinocchio and Aladdin and Jungle Book and Robin Hood are/were firm favourites.

Re: Movie Scenes That Traumatized You *May Contain Spoilers*

A guy shooting himself in Der Untergang (Downfall).

In younger years basically all of Return To Oz and Amsterdamned. Today the opening scene of Amsterdamned is one of my favourite unintentionally hilarious scenes but 7 is too young to watch that sort of serial killer stuff.

Re: AIVD Puzzle - Let's Get Cracking!

The AIVD puzzle was beyond hard - I only found a few of the riddles. These are the only 2 that I solved that are interlingual and intercultural: Question 5 A: If AMSTERDAM = 133424313, ROTTERDAM = 434424313 and DEN HAAG = 324 3114, what is ACQUOY? b: And, for the younger puzzle solvers, if BEESEL = ...

Oh I hate how off the patterns look... if you can't make the pattern wrap properly on a character don't use a pattern.

Re: How come a famous author's last name gets censored by the forum?

Shortly before Michael, owner and admin of the site and forum, disappeared, he migrated the old forum to new software. This new software censors certain words by default. Michael is at present the only one who could do something about that (perhaps Tum too but I've never seen him in my forum days an...

Re: The Crimson Diamond: Laura Bow-style Adventure Game

It's an adventure gaming series by Sierra. Only two games were ever made: The Colonel's Bequest and The Dagger of Amon Ra. In both games, you're in a closed setting (in TCB a former plantation and in DOAR a museum). Time passes as you enter specific rooms in a specific order. As the time passes, you...

The other had gotten some ransomware on it and was lucky his brother-in-law still had all his children's baby pict...

Re: What was your first Clue game?

You could start up a topic with them... I began in 1992 when I got Cluedo for my 9th birthday. The game scared me a bit but it was a big hit in school when I brought it to class (we'd have a board game afternoon a couple of times per year). My teacher then made a fool of herself when we were playing...
