Wait ... Mrs. Peacock's a man!?
Funny you should say that, because this is what a female peacock looks like:

In this respect, the colours for Mrs. Peacock's dress in the movie make perfect sense. ;)

The Black Manor concept I'm creating has 60 suspected rooms; though I'm keeping the full list a secret. ;)

The forum has always censored that word even before the site update, among other words too.

Re: What happened to Boddy's parents?

In the version I'm working on, young David Black's parents are killed by his uncle, Eduardo Black. He kills Lord Fernando Black with garden sheers in the rose garden, and later pushes Lady Marguerite Black off the widow's walk. Eduardo took over Black manor, and became a recluse abducting and killin...

Mine was the 1996 game, which also got me into Clue, but it really sank in when I saw the movie shortly after.

Re: Which is the best Marmalade theme?

I voted Vampire - strong character interpretations with an appropriately moody theme (Also showcases the original 6 characters with White). I almost voted Classic, though I found some of the poses weird in that, and also didn't like that they didn't bother with unique pawns besides White.

Re: A trend with Mrs. White

I agree. To truly be inclusive, they need to do away with tokenism all together and attribute a spectrum of race visibility. I think the recent Marmalade games made an effort in this regard.

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

A new theme has been announced, Tropical Island! But I'm not so sure about the spyglass. That would have to be one heavy duty construction to keep from breaking itself when smashing someone over the head with it ... I'm wonder if the spyglass is inspired by the 2015 And Then There Were None miniser...

Re: First Mrs. White, then the Hall, is the Lead pipe next?

Clue the movie didn't help matters with cementing a steel pipe in people's minds as a 'lead pipe'. I do agree, lead pipes are archaic, we don't see them in homes anymore. But then, I'm one who feels Clue can be benefit being added to, like Master Detective, I see little sense in removing iconic fixt...

Re: Guess Who Clue, Hasbro mashups

Why not Prince Azure? An original black character, who also has an international pedigree. That would have satisfied the demographic representation of diversity Clue badly needs. But would it be enough? Why stop at only one black guy, and/or one Asian etc? This could be a chance to diversify in mul...
