There are two magnets inside to help keep the lid closed, but if you put a magnet near a tv or computer, it can mess up the coloring big time (and perhaps do worse things as well).

I agree the premier edition notepad and the 2008 notepad.

I also like the UK notepads, and really any one that has a space on the sides for additional notetaking.

Just a suggestion: I would've made Professor Plum a "travelling salesman", by which I mean a con man. They're as much a western staple as the hooker with a heart of gold and the Confederate officer.

I would definitely believe that; I hardly ever did the reading in my English classes...not because I didn't want to, but because I just always forgot about it.

I plan on reading Fahrenheit 451 soon, but I'll probably wait until winter break.

I haven't read it since the summer before 9th grade so I don't remember exactly why I didn't like it, but it had a lot to do with the feeling that nothing was happening for many many pages and that I didn't like how EVERYONE Pip met showed up later to become important in his life. That might've been...

The entire Rocky Horror soundtrack.

There I said it so shoot me.

I disagree. There's nothing you should hate about the Rocky Horror soundtrack. It's classic.

Then again, it's a hardcover, and it's not going to get DESTROYED I beg to differ. I used to have a hardcover of the Hitch Hiker's Guide Trilogy. One day I was reading it and the binding out of nowhere just ripped in two, right down the middle. I tried to keep reading it but that tear made it compl...

Agatha Christie wrote her books all the way through without knowing the solution until the end, and then she would go back and edit the story accordingly. That's probably how she came up with so many innovative endings.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I'm sorry, I misread the title as "Songs You Hate But Should Love". Now that I've correctly read the title, I realize that my previous comment doesn't make much sense. But yeah, I'd have to second skank songs (even goings as far back as Christina Aguilera's Dirrty and Lady Marmalade). Also, Baby Got...

My friend doesn't like the Beatles. Which I find a quite absurd because a) it's The Beatles! and b) their sounds varies so much that I find it hard to believe that someone couldn't find at least one song of theirs that they liked.

I would say so too. I've only read it once and I read it after I saw the movie and so was probably biased, but I think the movie's better.

There's also a category of movies that resemble the story only in name and basic plot but are actually much better than the books. People tend to overlook this category, but it's the one that Psycho, Forrest Gump, Casablanca, and many others. Basically any film that makes you go, "THAT was based on ...

I am not at all a grammar nazi. There are a few things that bug me, but overall I'm what you'd call a descriptivist, which means I think however people use language is the correct way to use language. As long as people understand you, you're using language correctly.

Yeah, that's why I looked at the last page. I don't really have a favorite crime, per se, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably go with the Rogerses'. Because as much as it was done because of their selfishness, I think they were looking out for the old woman too - at least subconsciously - by en...

[SPOILERS] I did finish it and it was amazing. I knew the twist and I accidentally saw the culprit's name on the last page, but I was still surprised. It was that darn poem that tripped me up. As soon as I read "red herring" I was like "Oh, you're crafty, Agatha Christie!" and was just waiting to ge...
