Re: Master Character Repository

I'd be happy to - Could I just get a short description of what their characters are?

Re: Which is the best Marmalade theme?

Out of curiosity, what do you guys think is the WORST Marmalade theme? Personally, I can find something to enjoy in all of them, but that cruise theme was such a disappointing way to end it. Pretty backgrounds can't make up for just how vapid and boring the characters are, in terms of design and per...

Re: Which is the best Marmalade theme?

I rather agree with Peach here. Clue games tend to be at their best when they're period pieces. Hollywood, Murder Express, these fit in nicely, and I love these themes. The Venetian Masquerade can be a bit cluttered at times, but... just the idea of the masquerade in clue is super appealing to me.

Re: PF Mysteries: The Case of the Midway Man

Well, the concept is all certainly interesting, I have no complaints I'm more thinking, you already have the sideshow as an attraction. What if, just for the sake of this mystery, you made a character based on one of the common freakshow archetypes? Imagine, the princesses white being the stage name...

What was the first?
Deadly Diagnosis, one of Cluedokids mysteries, and coincidentally another of my favorite mysteries from this site. Maybe the cases I like are just cursed :D

Re: PF Mysteries: The Case of the Adjacent Actuality

I didn't want to break up the story and game, I just want to say that I really loved this mystery concept :0 Very stylish cards too!
And honestly, the fact this is probably the second game lost on this forum is very amusing. Good for Mrs. White : )

Re: Master Character Repository

Just me musing on stuff here The Dr. Orchid backlash came from her "replacing" mrs. white, which we know she couldn't really do. It's certainly interesting that she's gone from b4stard of reimagining to a readily accepted addition so soon, and I just think it's interesting to see how. Because aside ...

Battery - Toxic Tissue Roll - Coiled Cooking Oil - Incendiary/Drowning Since I didn't add these three, I felt the need to clarify why BATTERY - Poisoning how, cracking the battery open and pouring the liquid into their drink / food / whathaveyou? Re: Books

Well, my Mom's been reading the Murder She Wrote books, including that one, and seems to enjoy them. Metal music I don't think she would have any tolerance for. I have to admit, while I don't like them critically, they are a bit of a guilty pleasure. The prose feels amateur and characters are flat,...

Re: Master Character Repository

While this is fairly controversial, I absolutely LOVE this modern take on the suspects. One could easily say these characters include several LGBT members, if not all of them. The colors really invoke a certain Pride-ful association, appropriate for the month of June. In this case, I’d like to thin...

I am kind of curious about the really bad character names too. Not just from cacums, but in general. I wouldn’t want to add them to the list of course, just more see them out of curiosity

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

The new animal crossing game has a whole feature where you can like, decorate rooms and arrange characters to make little scenes. I know Black said he's sick to death of animal crossing junk, but I'm wondering if you guys would be interested in a silly little one-off case made with the feature? It'd...

Re: Scooby-Doo! #118 (2007) “Whodunit”

I think the Waddingtons folks got cold feet with Mr. Slate-Grey — Mr. Slate would have been just fine, but they evidently thought people wouldn’t get it? I think Mr. Slate... it lacks punch. Making it hyphenated like that, it makes it interesting. Though my feelings on him change with the tides :D ...
