Re: Clue find! Success at the flea market today!

Interesting, this is likely the strangest branding and licensing strategy in the whole Cluedo franchise.

Re: Clue: It Edition

I'm sorry... I'm doing the best I can but at times with 50+ new spam posts it gets difficult. I already check during break time at work and I don't get too much of that. It’s not your fault. It’s just an unfortunate situation. It’s too bad you can’t delete into a temporary trash bin, that gives you...

Re: Clue: It Edition

Forgive me if this has been shared already, but the title makes it a bit of a challenge to search for it. That said, USAopoly has released a themed edition based on the remake of Stephen King’s IT with the object of discovering which kid was taken by Pennywise. https://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/cg...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Well the update is now out, and it looks like we were wrong on all accounts. The Sherlock characters do not belong to any color, but they are now their own sections. Moriarty is not Gray, Adler is not Meadow-Brook, Sherlock is not yellow and so on. However, those who were based off their Clue count...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I think that Sherlock is more brown than yellow and it’s time for Mustard to take a break for a round hehe Mustard AND Green — they’re the only ones with Scarlett who’ve been in every edition. But Mustard and Scarlett seem to be the face of the game marketing, and Scarlett’s face is on the app. So ...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vkd3vpkP9VkKqvv2qOQhJciNFP_wNQbX There’s a whole google docs file containing the artwork for the theme. Well there you have it then. 1. Sherlock/Mustard? 2. Watson/Green 3. Irene Adler/Meadow-Brooke 4. Prof. Moriarity/Gray/Grey 5. Rusty the crime boss 6. Plum...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Wherever did you get those Mr. Sterling Silver? Marmalade Game Studio's Clue/Cluedo page on its website: https://marmaladegamestudio.com/cluedo/ That’s hysterical... yet they’re gonna roll it out over 11 days on Facebook like a mystery haha! But the artwork is a bit odd, no? Sherlock is depicted tw...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Wherever did you get those Mr. Sterling Silver? So, Moriarity is gray/grey. Interesting. And Plum is Lestrade. Even more interesting. I’m a bit surprised Peach and Rusty are in the same game, and more than a tad disappointed there’s no Mrs. Hudson. At least this confirms Mrs. Meadow-Brooke with Wats...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Also, I think I can see what's supposed to be the Peacock character in the lower right of the Dr. Black poster, with a monkey on her shoulder. I see her now, she’s in the lower left of the poster, not the right. She does appear female, and may be wearing blue, but could be gray, or even white with ...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Nope, just Sherlock it looks like I don't think I'm a fan with how things are going... He’s wearing yellows and browns (with a blue ascot — or is that gray?) so more than likely he’s replacing Mustard, rather then Brunette (but I suppose he could also be Gray). He’s got a whole new face though. Aga...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I think the weapons teaser poster had a poster for "Scarlett the Sufragette" Ugh. I hate the idea of using Sherlock characters, ESPECIALLY if Sherlock or Watson are included. Sherlock and Watson as SUSPECTS????? No. No. No. A thousand times no. We'll have to wait and see if Green makes an appearanc...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Ok, let us see how many characters are revealed so far... 1. Scarlett 2. Rusty 3. Irene 4. Watson 5. Sherlock My guess is: 1. Scarlett/Suffragette (red) 2. Rusty/Crime Boss -- (orange) NEW 3. Irene Adler (green -- possibly Meadow-Brooke green NEW) 4. Inspector Lestrade (gray) 5. Dr. Watson (purple ...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Hmm, so they are using the Sherlock characters, I'm a bit surprised as I thought the names were just decoration, but also a bit disappointed as I was hoping to see interpretations of existing Clue characters we haven't seen yet (and also Victorian reimaginings of the ones we have, as they are doing...

Re: Scooby doo clue USAopoly version

My friend got me this as a gift and it's amazing! The Clue cards are food items that have certain abilities as well as monsters that scare the characters. Each person also gets a personality card that they can use once per game. Honestly, these all look pretty good, much better the DTS. One complai...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I don't believe they are actually playing the Sherlock Holmes characters - rather its simply a facelift theme of the setting. Notice that they are hinting at the SH character names, rather than showing them in full. As we've got Scarlett; the suffragette and Rusty; the crime boss, it looks like the...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Which one had Gray in it? I'm rooting for a Meadow-Brook, Rusty, or Lavender myself... :) Be nice if they didn't ignore those 2000s characters (except for Azure, which of course is not tokenism at ALL...) Gray/Grey has only been released in the original International pack with the original Tudor ma...

Re: Interview with Michelle Duval

Downton Abbey didn't start airing until 2010 and it really wasn't the worldwide hit it became until a few years later. Games are in development well before they are released as well. I wouldn't be surprised to learn the team on DTS was working for up to 2 years prior to its October 2008 launch. The ...
