Re: CLUE "Silver Line" Edition

Would love to hear your thoughts on the Clue card game - I find them quite enjoyable but would have preferred the locations to be more international rather than the America/England specific ones (I have English locations) - even the Dutch/German version has cool European locations

Re: Who's Gay? (Female)

Personally I don’t think of any of the suspects being gay, male or female, though as I have said before, Clue/do allows for so many different interpretations that it is easy enough for someone to make any of the characters gay/bi/trans etc depending on the story they want to tell. You could do a ver...

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

Yeah an orchid in her hair seems too much, especially with the design that she has, which is kind of minimal with the black and pink.

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

I think the marmalade board is a better layout/design than a lot of those ones that are similar to it that Hasbro released in the past - a board game release of the standard mansion from the Marmalade game would be interesting, IMO.

Re: Should Peacock and Scarlett be mother and daughter??

I think part of the reason I don’t like it is that the characters relationships and revelations should be centred around Mr Boddy, rather than being between each other, if that makes sense - Mr Boddy is the victim and everything should turn around and be connected to him.

It’s not a version of them that I particularly lean into, Not really sure why, I just prefer them to be unrelated

A Camp Crystal Lake Clue would be a fun idea - you could always make new cards and use different tokens to make up a Friday the 13th game!

Re: Clue w/ bathroom

I guess I’ve always assumed with Clue/do that the opposite has to be true - that Boddy is killed in one of the rooms and then his body is dragged/dumped on the stairs/in the cellar.

That is the problem with so many things - there are plenty of versions of not just Clue/do but other games/things - money and space for them lol

Thank you. I’d like to be a writer but I just can’t seem to commit to it on a regular basis.
I can relate - I used to write quite a bit but no longer seem to have the time or motivation :(

That’s true; I think Clue Mysteries is one of the few times Mr Boddy is depicted and featured in a game (still alive)
There is also Clue Mystery at Sea, one of the card games, where Mr Boddy is not only depicted alive in the game, but you also get to play as him!

Re: Some Clue Fan-Art

Just a quick fun rough schematic for a possible Titanic Clue version. https://i.postimg.cc/bvvc0WHV/20200119-092115.jpg Save Dr Lucky basically takes place on the titanic while it’s sinking. Kill Dr Lucky plays like committing the murder of Mr Boddy, while Save Dr Lucky takes place before that with...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

I always liked that they brought out a prequel, opening up the game 'world' further - I like it with the Clue games as well, with things like Clue FX and Clue Mysteries, and also with the Clue Card Game that has you guessing who, where and how the murdered fled the mansion after the killing.

That's an interesting back story for Mrs White and Mrs Peacock, PrinceAlarming - certainly something a writer could get some use out of in a story.

Re: Clue w/ bathroom

This is the same gimmick as changing the Monopoly playing pieces by having people vote for a new one. Replacing White with Orchid could arguably also be seen this way, and in some ways it is, but I felt there was more justification behind (allegedly). I’d prefer to have White and Orchid in the game...

Re: Clue w/ bathroom

I’ve actually always thought the hall and the ball room should swap places (and not just locations, like swap their room layout and size with each other) - the ballroom has all those exits coming off it that would be much more appropriate for a grand entrance hall, allowing access to more areas of t...
