Re: Who’s the guiltiest suspect? (2000s games)

Ash makes it clear that SIR Hugh Black is dead and they are gathered for his will. Conceptual art given to me by one or the game designers revealed the date of the game as March 24, 1924

Re: Nationalities of Azure and Lavender

Lavender would have been a British citizen as Hong Kong belonged to the UK until 1997.

Azure was also adopted by a French soldier (Monsieur Brunette?) making him of African descent but a French citizen.

Re: Where is Clue set?

Classic Clue is - for me - set in Hampshire, England. But I love the idea of MD being in France, Passport to Murder being in Europe, and maybe Cluedo Super Sleuth being in Scotland.

Re: character names

Well, this isn't an official Clue character, but I've often bemoaned the lack of another Yellow character...

And then I discovered that Hercules Poirot's secretary is Miss Felicity Lemon! I think she'd make an excellent cross-over character into the world of Cluedo...

At least they aren't so offensive this time.

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

I feel like there’s some sort of pun or joke with Madden & Seine... that was the law firm that Miss Peach worked for in Clue Mysteries. But it’s too clever for me.

Not sure if any of you lot are locked up already but it seems like a good time to start up another round of Cluedo...
I’ve never actually done one on the board, so I’m game!

Re: character names

In the 2000 UK version, a Beryl Crabtree is discussed as a "one of the house staff." I've always thought she would be an interesting character too... but I don't think she ever showed up again. Beryl is interesting - like Rusty I guess it’s her first name that is the colour association. David Hume ...

Well, I do have the Style Guide for Clue, but It’s not opening for some reason. If you can figure out how to open it, that would be awesome! https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bw33F57e-YvsVVZRYzl2YUFBdUE4R2FVRnV2T0xKSDU0bGZZ/edit?usp=docslist_api&filetype=msword It opened for me. I can email it to you...

I really really wish someone would restart cataloguing each version like Michael used to here. I don’t want scans of all the silly themed versions, but it’d be nice to be able to quickly see the history of the evolving board.

Re: The Designs/Artwork of Clue

I’ve given up trying to make sense of the FX board. I’ve seen some of the conceptual art which worked really hard to place each location in a logical place... then it was all apparently chucked and replaced with what appears to be a rather haphazard order. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll see if I can find out more info.

Re: Clue: MATC - Favorite Millennial Suspects

So it just occurred to me that there’s a significant error in the current set up in regards to Lady Lavender’s title. As discussed above, Lady Lavender is referred to as “Lady” because her dead husband was a knight (Sir Laurence Lavender. However, in the official style guide, Mrs Peacocks dead husba...
